At first sight, the 2017 Dodge Charger Daytonalooks like a regular powerful HEMI Charger with some special graphics - but there is definitely more to it The 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona includes SRT- and R/T Scat Pack-inspired front and rear performance fascias, performance side sills and a one-piece Satin Black performance spoiler that actually helps with the downforce. There is a giant satin black "HEMI" hood graphic that highlights the NACA duct and on the back, there is a "Daytona" rear-quarter graphic. The roof is also finished in black for a more aggressive and menacing look. Performance

Speaking of pouncing on the accelerator pedal, the 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona is powered by two engine choices including a 5.7-liter V8 for the regular Daytona and a 6.4-liter V8 for the Daytona 392 - we were more than happy to spend time with the latter. The 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona 392's 6.4-liter supercharged V8 engine pumps out an outstanding 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Dodge Charger Daytona 392 can run from 0 to 60 mph in mid four-second range and can run the quarter mile in the low 12-second range. The Dodge Charger Daytona 392 also gets high performance Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes, Mopar conical cold-air intake filter, electronically controlled active performance exhaust system, and 220-amp alternator. Yes, the Dodge Charger Daytona 392 may be a bit of an overkill over the 5.7-liter V8 Daytona, but it is simply so much more fun to drive.
